Pleasantly surprised!

The last time we water here changed our minds and we will be eating here more often! They greeted us in-person at the door, offered for us to sit at the bar while we waited for a table. Whole there we ordered drinks and we're offered to order appetizers, then took the appetizers at the table we moved to. The good was fresh, flavorful, and the service was great!

The is a complete 180 from what we experienced the previous two times we'd eaten there since moving to town 3 years ago. Likely now a monthly destination at least!

The only chance is love to see is a regular and rising listing of their wines and drink offerings. Perhaps this could be done digitally using a QR code or something.

This is the single best dining experience I've had in a long time. Amazing server staff that was nothing but friendly from the start, stiff drinks, and quick orders. The food that comes out is amazing. I ordered the Impossible Burger and could only say "Incredible" after every bite. Definitely a must stop for anyone passing through!!

Upon walking in I could tell this was a town favorite. The food was delicious and well seasoned- I've never had cauliflower wings so good!! It puts every wing place to shame. The fried gator and potato soup were also amazing, as well as my impossible burger. Definitely the best impossible burger I've ever had. Love the artwork and coziness, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly. I hope we get to pass through Missouri again so we can stop by.

My first time to eat here and it was exceptional. The Ribeye steak was thick and tender. Great taste and just under $30. Worth every penny. You would have to pay half again as much at a very high end restaurant to match this bad boy. Staff were friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere was quiet and condusive to conversation, so we set with friends and visited. Nice period decore. Just felt at home. Thanks for a great evening of dinning.

Drove out of the way just to dine here on our road trip! We found this little gem in 2020 while taking a vacation and we couldn't miss out on the chance to stop again. 10/10 food and our server was amazing! Hope we have a chance to come back out here one day. - traveling from NC. :)

Love this place. We came to visit my son Dustin for his birthday and decided to go out to dinner. Amazing food, service and old-fashioned.

Had the Mardi gras pasta and it was freaking phenomenal. Walking in I figured their burgers would be good but the pasta was a banger. Got a side of broccoli and it was okay (no seasoning or butter or anything but that's okay). Also got to try their bread pudding and I can see why every staff member in the place seemed to recommend it to everyone. So damn good. If I am ever in Marshall again, I will definitely have to come back here. 10/10

This place has a fantastic ambiance & great selection of liquors, beers, & wines. Not to mention, the servers and bar tending service is always exquisite. I don't know that I've ever gone in and had a bad experience. The place is 10/10 and I would recommend to just about anyone. Keep up the great work Leaning Side!

Lunch stop while on a courthouse photo expedition--notice the reflection in the window, it's right across the street from the Saline County Courthouse. The portobello sandwich was wonderful and it came with more fries than I could eat.

Really nice atmosphere, great food, very reasonable prices, this is a great place to stop off and have a great meal and a good drink.

Great food and great service! Love the laid back, yet more upscale vibe of the place. This place would definitely be a killer place to take a date.

If you do want or need to bring your little ones, don't be shy they have a kid's menu with fun activities on it and they are very welcoming. Our waitress acted in playful silly way with our little boy and made him feel very welcomed to be there.

Excellent waitress and kudos to the chef! Catfish w/cheese sauce & crawfish for me and ribeye for my husband. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!

If you are ever in Marshall, MO this is the place to eat. The steak was amazing. The service and atmosphere were excellent!

It was a random drive to Marshall, we hadn't been before and wanted to check the town out. Hunger led us to find an open restaurant. We couldn't have found a better place!!! It was simply delicious and the man waiting on us was very polite and friendly! We plan to drive back just to eat here!

The food was amazing. This was by far the best burger I have ever eaten. The atmosphere was excellent, the service was amazing, and the wait time was minimal. I plan to make this a regular stop when I am in town.

Freakin love thi place, super cool vibe and they have Vegan & vegetarian options! Free wifi, great food and cheap drinks, can't get much better than that.
